四极质谱仪中偶极辅助四极激发仿真研究

摘要 通过理论分析和模拟仿真,研究了提高四极质谱仪分辨率的新方法。在主射频电场上附加偶极辅助四极激发电场,使得四极质谱的第一稳定区分裂成岛状,第一稳定区尖端附近连续弹射出多余离子,从而避免出现多个峰。新的稳定区域稳定性更好,提高了四极质谱仪的分辨率和质量分离速率。使用MATLAB软件开展了离子运动轨迹的仿真计算,研究偶极辅助四极激发对稳定区变化以及模拟相关参数对通过率、分辨率及峰形的影响。通过理论分析、模拟仿真计算发现,该方法不需要对机械结构进行改造,只需对控制电路进行一定程度的设计,可以有效提高四极质谱仪的性能。 A new method to improve the resolution of quadrupole mass spectrometry is studied theoretically.By adding the dipole combined quadrupole excitation to the main RF,the problem of multiple peaks is improved by ejecting the excess ions near the tilp of the first stable region after splitting into islands.The newly developed stable region is similar to the high stable region,with higher resolution and fast quality separation characteristics.High-precision simulation is beneficial to the study of ion motion characteristics in quadrupole mass spectrometry and it is the key to optimize the performance of quadrupole mass spectrometry.By using MATLAB to simulate ion trajectories,the influence of dipolar combined quadrupole excitation on the change of stable area and the influence of simulation parameters on the transmission,resolution and peak shape were studied.Theoretical simulation shows that the method does not need to modify the mechanical structure,but only needs to modify the control circuit to some extent.
