Urban Heritage Conservation in Europe in 1950s-1980s——A Case of Brussels

保护与发展,这一对与生俱来的矛盾体决定了城市遗产保护的复杂性和争议性。本文以布鲁塞尔为例,分析了20世纪50年代至80年代欧洲快速城市化时期的城市发展和遗产保护情况,旨在从历史的视角理解遗产保护和城市发展之间的冲突和相互影响,为我国目前快速城市化下的城市遗产保护提供一些有益的借鉴。

The contradiction between protection and development determines the complexity and controversy of urban heritage conservation. This paper, taking Brussels as an example, analyzes the urban development and heritage conservation in Europe during the 1950 s-1980 s, a period of rapid urbanization after the Second World War. It aims to understand the friction and interaction between heritage conservation and urban development from a historical perspective, and to provide some useful references for China’s urban heritage conservation under current rapid urbanization.
