International education is a central element in promoting the success of postsecondary education systems.In order to promote the development of post-secondary education in Ontario,Ontario promulgated its first provincial International Postsecondary Education Strategy 2018.The strategy aims to create global citizens,contribute to Ontario’s communities and economy,and strive for sustainability.Its strategic implementation initiatives include:encouraging two-way flow of students;providing the best learning experience;ensuring the employment of international students;and improving the quality of international education.The strategy is characterized by promoting student development,promoting economic growth and relying on departmental collaboration.The strategy has certain enlightenment to the promotion of the development of international education in our country.
