五四时期先进知识分子选择马克思主义的数字人文考证——以《新青年》杂志为例

Textual Research for the Digital Humanities in Marxism among Advanced Intellectuals during the May 4th Movement:Taking New Youth as Example

作为中国近现代史上具有划时代意义的一个重大事件,五四运动的研究始终备受学界关注,其中有关先进知识分子缘何选择马克思主义更是研究的重点和难点。以五四时期新青年群体思想的变迁作为研究对象,借助NVivo12分析软件,采用数字定量和人文定性分析方法,以《新青年》全文数据库为研究基础,通过对所涉文献中关键词的选取、统计分析、价值评判、寓意解读,从国家救亡图存道路的抉择、世界政治格局的变动、国内社会思潮的竞逐三个维度,可以探求五四时期先进知识分子选择马克思主义的深层原因。

As a major event with epoch-making significance in the modern and contemporary Chinese history,the study of the May 4th Movement has always been the focus of academic circles.The choice of advanced intellectuals for Marxism is the focus and difficulty of research.This article takes the change of the new youth group thoughts in the period of the May 4th Movement as the research object.With the NVivo12 analysis software,the digital quantitative and human qualitative analysis methods are used to study the key words of the new literature,statistical analysis,value judgment,and interpretation of meanings.The analysis of the deep reasons for the selection of Marxism by advanced intellectuals during the period of the May 4th Movement is from the perspective of the choice of the country’s national salvation road,the change of the world political structure,and the competition of domestic social thoughts.
