Ideological Management and Its Comparison between China and the United States

意识形态管理是国家或政党借助各种管理手段,发挥多种管理职能,协调整合意识形态领域内外各种关系和资源,以确保维护统治阶级利益的思想体系在意识形态领域占据主导地位的一项复杂的系统工程。在新时代的中国,推进意识形态管理的科学化,关乎国家安全、政党存亡和人民福祉,只有不断提高其意识形态的管理水平,增强人民群众对主流意识形态的信仰共识,才能在竞争激烈的国际环境中不惧挑战,保持自立。美国是当今世界上唯一的超级大国,也是最大的资本主义国家,对其意识形态管理进行系统分析,并与我国的意识形态管理进行比较研究,有利于开阔视野,知己知彼,交流互鉴,提高我国的意识形态管理水平,巩固全党全国人民团结奋斗的共同思想基础。

Ideological management is a complex system project,in which the state or political party uses various management methods,play various management functions,coordinate and integrate various relations and resources from the ideological field to ensure that the ideological system of representing the interests of the ruling class hold dominant position.In the new era of China,advancing the scientificization of ideological management is closely related to national security,the survival of political party and the well-being of the people.Only by constantly raising the level of ideological management and enhancing the people’s common belief to mainstream ideology can we remain brave and independent in the competitive environment.The United States is the world’s only superpower and the largest capitalist country.Analyzing systematically American ideological management and comparing with China’s ideological management is beneficial to broaden our horizon,understand each other,exchange and mutual learning.
