摘要
德川幕府和明治政府时期,日本积极派遣使团出访西方先进国家,西方图书馆引起日本学者的注意。归国之后,这些学者将所见所闻所想记录成册,积极投身于日本公共图书馆建设。1872年,日本第一家公共图书馆——东京汤岛书籍馆开馆,随后其他地区的图书馆如雨后春笋般涌现,日本图书馆事业迈进了新时期。
During the periods of Tokugawa Shogunate and Meiji,Japan had actively sent missions to visit western developed countries and libraries caught the attention of Japanese scholars.After returning home,these scholars recorded what they saw,heard and thought in books and actively engaged in the estalishment of Japanese public libraries.In 1872,the first public library in Japan,Tokyo Yushima Library,was successfully opened to the public,and then libraries in other regions mushroomed as well.The librarianship in Japan stepped into a new era.
