废除工作

Abolish Work

文章指出了现代工作制度对人的身心造成的巨大伤害,呼吁要停止工作,并用一种以游戏为基础的新生活方式--嬉戏生活取而代之。文章探讨了废除工作的方式,即大幅度减少正在进行的工作量,包括大部分第三产业的工作,尤其是家庭主妇的家务劳动和子女抚养,同时保留对社会有益的工作,并将之转化成游戏般愉快的消遣活动。

In this paper,the author Bob Black explores the possibility to abolish work.First,he calls for a play-based life,ludic life,to take over work of which the modern system has caused tremendous harm to people′s mind and body.Then,Black draws on philosophical,sociological and anthropological works to discuss why it is necessary to replace work with ludic life.In the end,he tentatively proposes some approaches to abolish work:to get rid of most work,including most of those in the tertiary sector,especially housework and childrearing,and transform the rest of work into a pleasing variety of game-like pastimes.
