“五四”百年中国从“救亡”到“强起来”的历史逻辑

The Historical Logic of China from “Saving the Nation” to “Strengthening up” in the “May 4th” Century

五四运动后百年,中华民族的发展问题是个值得研究的重要课题。五四运动时期中华民族国难当头,当时青年知识分子的重要任务是国家的“救亡”与民众的“启蒙”。正是在这个历史关头,马克思主义在俄国的胜利成为中国人的曙光,为不久后中国共产党的诞生提供了条件。回首“五四”百年,中国共产党成立90多年来所肩负的历史任务就是从救国救民开始,逐步实现三大目标:1921年到1949年毛泽东带领中国人民“站起来”,邓小平推进改革开放使中国人“富起来”,习近平总书记带领中国人民“强起来”,实现中华民族伟大复兴的历史使命。

The development of the Chinese nation in the past hundred years after the May 4th Movement is an important subject worth studying.During the May 4th Movement,the Chinese nation was faced with a national crisis,thus young intellectuals'important task at that time was to save the country and enlighten the people.It is at this historic juncture that the victory of Marxism in Russia has become the dawn of the Chinese people,providing conditions for the birth of the Communist Party of China in the near future.Looking back we are clear that the historical task of the Communist Party of China since its establishment 90 years ago is to start from saving the country and the people,gradually achieving the following three goals.From 1921 to 1949,Mao Zedong led the Chinese people to “stand up”.Deng Xiaoping pushed forward the reform and opening up to make Chinese people “get rich”.General Secretary Xi Jinping is leading the Chinese people to “get strong”and realize the historic mission of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
