The Party has always attached importance to scientific and technological innovation.From"marching towards science"upon the founding of the People's Republic of China to the implementation of the innovation-driven development strategy and the promotion of comprehensive innovation centered on scientific and technological innovation proposed by the 18th National Congress,the Party's understandings of scientific and technological innovation in different periods have their own focuses and also come down in one continuous line,having a clear historical evolution.
