在中原抗战初期,朱理治先后担任了中共河南省委书记、中原局委员兼组织部部长、豫鄂边区党委书记、中原局代理书记、新四军豫鄂挺进纵队委员会书记兼政治委员、豫鄂边区军政委员会书记等要职,为中原抗战做出了重要贡献。在此期间,朱理治非常重视抗战宣传,为抗战宣传做了大量的工作,有力地推动了鄂豫边区抗日民主根据地的发展。

At the beginning of the central China Anti-Japanese War, Zhu Lizhi who successively assumed office as head of the CCP henan province committee, committee member and organization department minister of the CCP central plains bureau , head of the CCP yuebian, agency head of the CCP central plains bureau, head and political commissar of the new fourth army yue advancing column committee,and head of the yuebian military and administrative committee made an important contribution to the war. During this period, Zhu lizhi attached great importance to anti-Japanese war propaganda. He did a lot of propaganda work of the anti-Japanese war, which effectively promoted the development of anti-Japanese democratic base areas in the Hubei-Henan border rejion.
