On the Training Mode of International Students Majoring in Design under the Background of One Belt and One Road

"一带一路"倡议促进国际教育交流互动,来中国留学学生规模不断。设计学在近20年来获得快速发展,传统包括产品设计、平面设计以及景观环境设计等方向,随着产业的发展,还包括用户界面设计、视觉传达、信息艺术设计等新兴方向。设计学的学科交叉特点和对产业的实用特点,受到国际学生青睐。对于设计类国际学生的培养,需要加强产业、设计业界与学界的跨界合作与跨境交流,创新培养模式。

The "Belt and Road Initiative" promotes international education interaction and the number of foreign students studying in China are increasing gradually. Design has been rapidly developed in the past 20 years. The tradition field includes product design, graphic design and landscape environment design. With the development of the industry, it also includes new directions such as user interface design, visual communication and information art design. The cross-disciplinary characteristics of design and the practical characteristics for the industry make the design are favored by international students. For the cultivation of international students majoring in design, to innovate the cultivation model,it is necessary to strengthen the international exchanges and Cross-border cooperation between the industry, the design industry and the academic community.
