基于通用性设计原则的家庭改造可以改善老年人随着年龄增长而导致对原居住环境不适应的情况,在基于通用性原则的家庭改造过程中设计师不仅需要理解老年人的诉求,还需要在再设计的过程中给老人带来尊重、平等的感受。协同设计通过用户、研究人员和设计师之间的密切合作来完成设计的方法可以更好地理解老年人对居住环境的需求。本研究探讨了将老年人作为协同设计师纳入家庭改造方法研究中的必要性。

Home modification based on the principle of universal design is an effective way to improve the elderly who are not adapted to the original living environment due to their age. In the process of home modification based on the principle of universal design, it is not only necessary for designers to understand the appeals of the elderly, but also to bring respect and equality to the elderly in the process of redesign. Collaborative design as a way to complete the design through close cooperation between users, researchers and designers can better understand the needs of the elderly for the living environment. The study explores the necessity of considering the elderly as co-designers in the study of home modification methods.
