Described a method for testing the content of abnormal aggregates in hardened concrete,namely the slicing method.In this paper,the basic principle of the slicing method was described.It is considered that the ratio of the abnormal aggregate area to the slice area on the section is approximated to the abnormal aggregate volume content of the section.The test steps of the slicing method were described in detail,and how to further improve the method was discussed.
