20世纪50年代图书馆界完成了新型图书分类体系的构建。通过对这一过程的研究分析,明确了在此体系的构建中经历了1948年-1950年上半年的早期探索期、1950年下半年-1956年的新型分类法体系的酝酿形成期、1957年后的诞生发展期。最终诞生了"大型法",标志着我国统一分类法已基本成熟。
