Historical Changes of National Image since the Founding of People’s Republic of China

新中国成立70年以来,中国的国家形象发生了巨大变迁。中华民族迎来了从站起来、富起来到强起来的伟大飞跃,一个独立自主、改革开放、务实高效、自信担当、文明包容、充满活力的社会主义大国屹立在世界的东方,科学社会主义在21世纪的中国焕发出了强大的生机和魅力。但是,中国的国家形象尚存在双重性问题,"他塑"而非"自塑"的现象依然严重,要注重提升理论话语的比较优势,切忌宣传工作的简单化和庸俗化,注重精神气质的塑造和方式,突出国家形象塑造的特色。

Great changes have taken place in the national image of People’s Republic of China in the 70 years since its founding,and the Chinese nation has taken a great leap forward from standing up,getting rich to becoming strong. An independent,reform and opening up,pragmatic,efficient,confident,responsible,civilized,inclusive and vibrant socialist country has stood up in the east of the world,and scientific socialism has shown great vitality and charm in China in the 21 st century. However,there is still a problem of duality in China’s national image,and the phenomenon of"shaping by others"rather than"shaping by oneself"is still serious. Therefore,we should focus on improving the comparative advantage of theoretical discourse,avoid simplistic and vulgar publicity work,and pay attention to the shaping of ethos and its way,so as to highlight the characteristics of national image shaping.
