我国当代职业教育崛起于改革开放大潮之中。社会主义市场经济体制改革激发了现代职业教育服务实体经济的活力,开启了教育供给侧结构改革的早期探索。在40年的发展历程中,职业教育始终融合在建设中国特色社会主义的进程中,扎根中国大地,现代职教体系建设创建了一批自主品牌的教育服务平台和制度范式。进入新世纪,职业教育“创新驱动,转型发展”的新态势已初露端倪。40年来,职业教育自身现代化的探索也经历了从自然进入到自觉推进的转变,既表现出高速增长的规模扩张态势,更表现出构建现代职教体系、不断调整优化供给侧结构的趋势。鉴史观今,研究探讨职业教育40年发展的特点和规律,对职业教育迎接新时代的新发展具有一定的启示意义。
