On Utilization Rate of Paper Periodicals in Public Libraries in the New Media Era: Taking Shaanxi Library as an Example

如何提高纸质期刊的利用率,让有限的文献资源发挥其最大社会服务效能,是公共图书馆共同面临的重要任务之一。本文通过对陕西省图书馆纸质中文期刊入藏情况、读者群、借阅量、借阅率、服务现状等情况分析汇总,探究存在的问题,并提出解决路径。

How to improve the utilization rate of paper periodicals and make the limited literature resources give full play to their maximum social service efficiency is one of the important tasks public libraries face. This paper probes into the existing problems and puts forward the solutions through the analysis and summary of collection situation, readership, loaning volume, loaning rate and service status of Chinese paper periodicals in Shaanxi Library.
