In recent years, the problem of academic credibility and integrity with college students in China has become increasingly prominent.Academic misconduct of college students is also a common phenomenon in American universities. After years of exploration and improvement,American colleges and universities have formed a relatively perfect system for the prevention and control of students’ academic misconduct. The major measures of preventing and controlling academic misconduct of college students at three Ivy League universities in the United States(Harvard University,Cornell University,Princeton University) are the honor criterion system.Institutionalization, students’ self-management and school-wide cooperation are the main achievements and experiences in preventing and controlling college students/academic misconduct in America.By referring to the practice of American universities,Chinese universities can also promote the prevention and control of students’ academic misconduct from the two aspects of institutionalization and education of credit and integrity.
