The Topic of the 19th Session of the National History Academic Annul Meeting

9月下旬的石家庄,暑热方消,秋凉初降,可谓一年四季当中最美好的季节。请允许我代表本次活动的主办单位之一——河北省社会科学院,向在百忙之中前来参加学术研讨会的专家学者,向远道而来的各位朋友和嘉宾表示热烈欢迎和衷心感谢!新中国成立的70年,是砥砺奋进的70年,是成就辉煌的70年。经过70年的伟大实践,我国发生了翻天覆地的变化,各项事业取得了举世瞩目的成就,书写了经济发展的“中国震撼”。我们用几十年的时间走过了西方发达国家几百年走过的现代化历程,实现了从落后时代到大踏步赶上时代、引领时代的历史性跨越,迎来了从站起来、富起来到强起来的历史性飞跃,这其中的经验和教训确实需要我们国史研究者进行全面、系统、深入的研究和总结。我们这次年会的主题是“新中国70年成就和经验”,可谓恰逢其时。

The 19th Session of the National History Academic Annul Meeting on the theme of“The Achievements and Experiences of the New China in the Past 70 years”was held in Shijiazhuang,Hebei Province on September 21~22,2019.The meeting was jointly organized by Contemporary China Research Institute of the CASS,Hebei Academy of Social Sciences and the Association of National History of the PRC.Under the leadership of the CPC since the founding of the PRC,China has become the world’s second largest economy and has created the earth-shaking historical miracle in the human society development history after 70 years of hard work,especially after more than 40 years of reform and opening-up.This is a glorious achievement made by the CPC in governing and rejuvenating the country and a magnificent epic composed by the sons and daughters of China in striving for self-improvement and hard work.In order to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the PRC,comprehensively show the achievements in all aspects of the construction and development of the PRC,thoroughly summarize the governance experience of the Party and the country and scientifically reveal the historical law of building a modern socialist country,more than 80 experts and scholars from the central government,universities,scientific research institutions had conducted in-depth academic discussions and exchanges around“The Achievements and Experiences of the New China in the Past 70 years”and achieved positive results.Now some of the speeches are now published for the readers.
