Yu Shao’s Poetic Preface

于邵是中唐时期创作序体较多的作家,其诗序具有如下特点:(1)善于运用简洁的四言骈句,描写悬想的景色;(2)结构比较固定,具有类型化、格套化倾向,缺乏鲜明的个性;(3)时间、地点和人物的表述都有模糊化的倾向,应酬性掩盖了真正的才情。于邵诗序表明"赠人以言"已经代替"赠人以诗"成为新时尚,具有较高的文学史意义。

Yu Shao is a writer with a large number of preface styles in the mid-Tang period,and his poetic preface has the following characteristics:(1)he is good at using concise four-character parallel sentences to describe the scenery of the imagination;(2)The structure is relatively fixed,with a tendency of typology and set practices,lacking distinctive personality;(3)Time,place and people’s expressions tend to be vague,and sociably cover up real talents.YU Shao’s poetic preface shows that"words of advice to people"has become a new fashion instead of"presenting people with poems"and has high significance in literary history.
