摘要
我国对外开放的不断深化,“一带一路”倡议的持续深入,对高等院校的专业英语教学提出新的要求。以ESP理论为指导,通过调研并结合自身在土工工程专业英语教学的实际经验,分析目前高职院校土木工程专业英语教学存在的问题,探讨了土木工程专业英语的教学改革方法和激发学生学习动力的途径:激发学生学习兴趣,建立明确、可行的教学目标;强化专业英语师资队伍的建设;选择适合高职学生的教材,补充教学内容;教学方法多元化;细化教学考核。
With the constant development of China’s open and reform“One road,one belt”policies,new demands have been required for ESP teaching.Guided by ESP theory and based on researches,studies and practical experience in civil engineering majored English teaching,this article analyzes problems existing among present civil engineering majored students in their English study,discusses ways of teaching reforms as well as means of motivating students,which is to encourage their learning interest,set up specific,feasible teaching goals,strengthen constructions on ESP teaching staff,choose suitable teaching materials and supplements,diversify teaching methods and refine teaching assessments.
