As an important additive in the plastics processing industry,plasticizers were widely used in the fields of polyvinyl chloride,synthetic rubber and leather processing.This paper introduced the plasticizing mechanism of plasticizers,summarized the types of traditional plasticizers and several new non-toxic plasticizers and their application status,and briefly introduced the development status of plasticizers in China and abroad,and the development prospects of plasticizers was prospected.
