文章将语域思想用于太极拳英语教学中,尝试性地提出一个太极拳英语教学情境下的语域分析模式,它既不同于太极拳创作者的语域,又不同于译者的语域,而是将两种语域和教学情境相结合形成的一个新的语域模式。在这一语域模式下,以“太极拳中英双语教程”为实例,从语域的变量语场、语旨和语式三个方面,对教材中语篇的语域特征及其体现方式进行分析,并根据语篇的语域标准探讨这些语篇是否合适,从而对教材做出评价,以期为太极拳英语教学提供指导和借鉴。

The paper mainly explores the Tai Chi Chuan English teaching from the perspective of register theory.A registerial analysis model of Tai Chi Chuan English teaching is tentatively proposed,which is a combination of original Tai Chi Chuan text creator s register and the translator s,with teaching context taken into consideration.Under the framework,the textbook Tai Chi Chuan,English and Chinese Bilingual Teaching Course is analyzed in terms of field,tenor and manner to see if the specific instances in the textbook conform to the register of Tai Chi Chuan English.Thus,the evaluation of the textbook can be made.The whole study is hoped to be of benefit to Tai Chi Chuan English teaching.
