编译策略在高校英文网站新闻翻译中的运用——以安徽理工大学英文网为例

The Application of Transediting in News Translation of College websites——A Case Study of English Website of Anhui University of Science and Technology

高校英文网站是国外受众了解中国高校办学特色、发展动态及校园文化的一个直接渠道,是高校对外宣传的一扇重要窗口。目前,国内大部分高校的英文网站是以其中文网站为基础进行编译的。在不同思想理论的指导下,编译策略会产生不同的译入语文本,达到的宣传效果也不尽相同。文章以习近平新时代对外话语体系建设思想为指导,提出了校园网新闻翻译的“三个坚持”原则,并以安徽理工大学英文网翻译实践为具体事例,分析了编译策略在高校英文网新闻翻译中的应用,并得出结论:高校英文网新闻翻译应做到立足自身,融通中外,站在全球视野的高度,“讲好中国高校的故事”,从而真正建立起体现新时代特征、具有普适性、高度国际化的高校英文网站。

English website is a convenient channel for foreigners to learn about Chinese colleges and universities.It is also important for the external publicity of colleges and universities.At present,the English websites of most colleges in China are transedited based on their Chinese websites.Under the guidance of different thoughts and theories,the transediting will produce different translated text and achieve different publicity effects.This paper proposes the“three insists”principle for news translation in accordance with Xi Jinping’s thought about the construction of external discourse system in new era.Based on the writer’s translation practice,it analyzes the transediting strategy in news translation for college website,and draws the conclusion that the translation of college website should be based on the reality,integrated the phraseology of different cultures and languages,standing in the height of the global vision,with the purpose to achieve good publicity effect.
