Study on Teaching Mode of Postgraduate Academic English Writing

英语学术写作能力是研究生学术能力的重要组成部分,也是研究生英语教学培养的重点。研究生英语学术写作能力的两大困难在于思辨能力的培养和写作兴趣的激发,而不是词汇、句子、语篇层面的困难。在人本主义理论和生本教学理念的指导下,通过探讨以读促写,以观影促写和以评促写的三个阶段学术英语写作教学模式,进行学术英语写作教学实践活动,能有效调动学生学术写作兴趣和促进学生学术英语写作中批判性思维能力的提高。

English academic writing ability is an important component of postgraduates’academic ability,which is also the focus of foreign language teaching.Two important concerns in academic English writing teaching are the cultivation of students’critical thinking ability and the stimulation of students’interest in classroom learning.Under the guidance of humanistic theory and student-oriented teaching philosophy,this paper discusses a three-stage teaching mode of academic English writing in the hope of arousing students’interest in academic writing classes and developing students’critical thinking ability.
