摘要
本文从三个方面研究了高铁开通对地区经济差距的影响:首先,从新经济地理学的角度研究了高铁开通对地区经济差距的影响机理;其次,采用加权平均旅行时间、经济潜力和日可达性三个指标揭示了20082017年各地区的可达性改善程度;最后,基于20082017年的面板数据,在内生增长模型的框架下,以衡量地区铁路禀赋的两个变量铁路网密度和铁路可达性研究了高铁开通对地区经济差距的影响。研究结果表明,高铁开通在改善和提高地区可达性方面的效果是非常显著的,同时证实了高铁开通对促进地区经济差距收敛的积极作用,且以可达性衡量的铁路网质量改善对地区经济差距的影响比以铁路网密度衡量的铁路数量改善对地区经济差距的影响更为显著。
This paper studies the impact of China’s high-speed rail on regional economic disparity from three aspects: firstly, this paper studies the influence mechanism of high-speed rail on regional economic disparity from the perspective of new economic geography;Secondly, using weighted average travel time, economic potential and daily accessibility as three indicators, this paper reveals the degree of accessibility improvement in different regions from 2008 to 2017;thirdly, based on the panel data from 2008 to 2017, under the framework of the endogenous growth model, this paper quantitatively and qualitatively studies the impact of high-speed rail on regional economic disparity. The research results show that the opening of high-speed rail has a significant effect on improving regional accessibility, which is also confirmed the positive role of high-speed rail in promoting convergence of regional economic disparities in China, and the impact of the improvement of the quality of China’s railway system measured by accessibility on regional economic growth is more significant than that of the improvement of the number of Railways measured by the density of railway network.
