Research on Technological Progress and Economic Growth in 70 Years Since the Founding of New China

新中国成立70年来,中国经济具有特殊的增长历程。作为中国经济增长动力之一的技术进步,在经济增长中承担何种角色、影响程度如何的问题引起了学界广泛的讨论。文章从对“科学技术是第一生产力”的曲折认识过程、技术进步的来源与实现路径的探讨、技术进步对经济增长的贡献的测度及评价与争议3个方面,对围绕新中国成立以来70年的技术进步与经济增长的互动关系的研究进展进行梳理,对理论的发展脉络进行评述。

Since its founding 70 years ago, the People′s Republic of China′s economy has undergone a special growth process. During this process, as one of the main driving forces in China′s economic growth, the important role of the technological progress and its influence extent have been widely discussed. This paper reviews the economic research on the interactive relationship between technological progress and economic growth since the founding of new China. In particular, the paper goes over the domestic research development in this field through the following three aspects: the tortuous cognition process of "science and technology being the first productive force", its source and realization path, the measurement, evaluation and dispute of technological progress′s contribution to economic growth.
