摘要
烯基琥珀酸酐(ASA)乳液作为中性施胶剂用于浆内施胶具有独特的应用优势,但ASA极易与水反应的本质导致其乳液稳定性差,限制了其应用推广.该文尝试采用浸渍法将ASA的乙醇溶液直接处理原纸,结果表明:当ASA在乙醇溶液中的体积分数为0.0312%时,该法能赋予纸张很好的疏水效果,甚至还能显著增强纸张的表面强度.该方法为ASA在纸张中的应用提供了一条新思路.
Alkenyl succinic anhydride(ASA)emulsion has its unique advantages as a neutral sizing agent when used in internal sizing of paper.However,that ASA reacts with water easily destined the unsatisfactory stability of ASA emulsion,which limits its application and popularization.In the present study,ASA ethanol solution,instead of ASA aqueous emulsion,was attempted to treat a kind of base paper directly by impregnation method.The result showed that,when the volumetric concentration of the used ASA solution was 0.0312%,the hydrophobicity of the treated paper,and even the surface strength of the paper,were improved significantly.This method provided a new option for the application of ASA in paper industry.
