The power performance and endurance of pure electric vehicles have always been technical difficulties in this field.One of the factors affecting the cruising range of pure electric vehicles is the quality of complete vehicles.Therefore,automobile lightweight technology has gradually become a research hotspot in the automotive industry.This paper discusses the impact of lightweight technology on pure electric vehicles,analyzes the current status of lightweight technology,and proposes specific ways to achieve lightweight,which provides assistance for lightweight design of pure electric vehicles.
