论河内郡在刘秀复“汉”战争中的作用和地位

On the function and position of Henei Prefecture in the War of Rebuilding Han led by Liu Xiu

河内郡位于黄河以北、太行山以南的山河怀抱地带,南控虎牢之险,北倚太行之固,是河北通往洛阳的必经之地,咽喉要道。王莽篡汉后,刘氏皇族后裔南阳的刘縯、刘秀兄弟于家乡舂陵起兵,讨伐王莽的大“新”政权。更始二年(公元24年)秋冬之际刘秀率大军占领河内郡,以河内郡为基地,展开了北伐、西进、南征的复“汉”军事战争,跨越黄河,定都洛阳,最终统一了天下。在复汉战争中,河内郡起到了后勤保障基地、大本营和战略的桥头堡作用,是复汉的基石所在,地位至关重要。

Henei Prefecture was located in the north of the Yellow River and south of Taihang Mountain,and was a must pass and choke point from Hebei to Luoyang.After Wang Mang usurped Han Dynasty,Liu Wei and Liu Xiu,descendants of Liu royal family,raised an army in their hometown Lingling to suppress Wang Mang s big Xin regime.During the autumn and winter in the year of Gengshi 2(AD 24),Liu Xiu occupied Henei Prefecture,and then began the War of Rebuilding Han with Henei as the base.He led the army to pass across the Yellow River,founded the capital in Luoyang,and finally unified the country.In the War of Rebuilding Han,Henei Prefecture played the role of a logistics support base,base camp and strategic bridgehead.Being the cornerstone of the War,Henei is of vital importance.
