权威存在于人类社会的各个阶段,是在人类漫长的发展实践中逐渐形成的社会关系。恩格斯为反对巴枯宁无政府主义者分裂共产国际、反对权威的错误思想,运用辩证唯物主义和历史唯物主义思想对其进行了深刻的批判,在这个过程中阐述了权威是什么、为什么需要权威、权威在社会发展中的作用等问题,对无产阶级革命产生了深刻的影响。时至今日,权威依旧存在并将长期存在于人类社会,因此认真研究恩格斯权威思想对今天我们自觉做到“两个维护”、树立新时代的权威关系具有重要意义和时代价值。

Authority exists in every stage of human society,and is a social relationship gradually formed in the long development practice of human beings.Engels opposed Bakunin anarchists mistaken ideas which were to divide the Communist International and against authority,and made profound criticismusing the ideas of dialectical materialism and historical materialism.In this process,Engels expounded whatauthority was,why it was needed,and its role in the development of society,which has profound influence on the proletarian revolution.Up to now,authority still exists and will remain in human society for a long time.Therefore,it is of great significance and value to study Engels'thought of authority carefully for us to consciously practice“two maintenance”and establish authority relations in the new era.
