作为中国哲学史上第一部具有完整哲学体系和辩证思想的著作,《道德经》以与先秦诸子学说迥然不同的姿态,对中华民族的性格、心态、思维产生了巨大、深远的影响。《道德经》言说方式的开放性与思想意涵的时代兼容性,彰显了道家核心思想概念的世界性意义,成为中国经典文化走出去、参与世界文化对话的典型范例。

DaoDeJing,with its simplicity and awesome profundity,is like a"White Dwarf"of classical literature,so weighty,so compact,and so suggestive of a mind radiating thought at a white heat.Based on analyzing the way the DaoDeJing scripture manifests its thoughts,the present paper attempts to illustrate how key concepts embodied in DaoDeJing have acquired the worldwide significance.With this specific exploration of Chinese ideas’international enlightenment,we hope that the attempted views may shed lights upon reconstructing other Chinese classics in the Western world and may help to promote Chinese philosophy acquiring its stand in the world today.
