摘要
陈元晖作为我国著名哲学家、心理学家和教育学家,从多学科的视角重视对中国教育学史的研究,并以《中国教育学史遗稿》为代表的一系列作品为我国教育学史研究奠基。陈元晖认为,教育学的发展需要回到古代教育思想中去,以借古开今,守正出新。基于此,陈元晖以史为基,考据训诂,通过类比中外,激荡争鸣,探寻中国教育学的来源、变革与发展。陈元晖倡导中国教育学要善于总结自己的优秀遗产,并从不同的哲学维度审视中国教育学史,为反思重构中国新教育学提供了强有力的理论基础。他指出,教育学不是记问之学,而是使人聪明之学,要使学生通过"比物丑类"达到"知类通达"。陈元晖通过关注中国传统文化的教育性与内源性,实现对本民族文化遗产的继承与发展,体现着对教育学的独特定位,以及对中国教育学发展的责任感、使命感与文化自信。陈元晖认为,建设中国的新教育学,需将辩证法引入教育学的研究乃至教育实践中,并且使新教育学与未来学相结合、与自然科学相结合,使新教育学成为"出口教育学",从而为新教育学的发展指明了方向。
Chen Yuanhui,a famous Chinese philosopher,psychologist and educator,attached great importance to the history of Chinese pedagogy from a multidisciplinary perspective;he laid a solid foundation for the history of Chinese pedagogy by a series of works,such as A Legacy of the Histoiy of Chinese Education.According to Chen,pedagogy should make innovations by using China's ancient educational thoughts for reference,and explore the source,changes and development of Chinese pedagogy;Chinese pedagogy was supposed to accumulate its excellent heritages,and view the history of Chinese pedagogy from different philosophical perspectives so as to provide a strong theoretical basis for the reflections upon and the reconstruction of the new Chinese pedagogy;pedagogy did not merely mean remembering knowledge from others;instead,it made people smarter and helped them cultivate comprehensive and abstract thinking by summing up experience.By focusing on the etlucational and endogenous nature of China's traditional culture,he inherited and developed the cultural heritage of the Chinese nation,which embodied his unique orientation to pedagogy,as well as his sense of responsibility for and his cultural confidence in the development of Chinese pedagogy.In his opinion,the new Chinese pedagogy needed to introduce dialectics into its research and practice,combine futurology and natural sciences,and integrate itself into the world;he thus gave directions as to how to develop the new Chinese pedagogy.
