From Content to Method: Implications of Laozi’s Dao De Jing to Education of Eco-civilization

《道德经》是中国传统文化经典著作之一,阐释了道法自然的“合一”观、道生德养的道德观,对当代生态文明教育中应塑造什么样的人,如何塑造人都有所启示。本文梳理了《道德经》中“知足知止、少私寡欲、复归于朴”等生态文明教育思想,提出教育者在生态文明教育过程中应借鉴“自然无为、图难于易”等方式,最终高效达成教育目的。

Dao De Jing is one of the classic works of Chinese traditional culture.It explains the Unity concept of Dao following the natural rules,the morality of Dao gives birth to it and De nurtures it.It has enlightenment on what kind of people should be shaped and how to shape people in the education of contemporary ecological civilization.This paper sorts out such ecological civilization education thoughts as"moderately done,reduce selfishness,and manifest plainness"in Dao De Jing,and puts forward that educators should draw lessons from such methods as"inactivity to nature,and illustrating the difficulties"in the process of ecological civilization education,so as to achieve the educational goal with high efficiency.
