The Greek cities of Asia Minor known as East Greek are actually a mixture of Greeks and Locals. Depending on the frequent contacts with Anatolian locals, the Greek cities were on their golden age in both trade, poetry and other cultural creations during 7 th B.C. to 5 th B.C. Despite the constant conflicts with themselves and aliens such as Lydians or Persians, the overall situation was relatively harmonious. With the gradual strengthening of the local community consciousness and the mutual recognition with the Greeks, especially Athens Polis, they moved toward unity under the threat of Persia.
