柳宗元是唐代著名文学家、思想家及政治家,在中国文学史上具有重要的地位和影响。儒家思想占据柳宗元人生哲学的核心地位,特别是民本思想对柳宗元的影响至深,贯穿其一生。柳宗元通过自己的政治实践、理论探索和文学创作不断将这一思想发扬光大。

Liu Zongyuan is a famous litterateur, thinker and politician in Tang Dynasty. Confucianism occupies the core position of Liu Zongyuan’s philosophy of life. In particular, the people-oriented thought had a profound influence on Liu Zongyuan throughout his life. Liu Zongyuan constantly carried forward this thought through his political practice, theoretical exploration and literary creation.
