信息盒子是1994年的邀请竞赛建成项目。其目的是在东、西德合并后的柏林市Potsdamer广场设计一座反映全球对建筑广泛感兴趣的建筑。在这个信息展览空间中,将通过模型,计算机动画和建筑图纸来展示规划的施工项目。施耐德+舒马赫建筑事务所提出了一个从周围的建筑中脱颖而出的,具有独特性和独创性的临时建筑。明亮的红色表皮方框简洁明了,易于辨认,悬停在周围混乱的城市机理之上。
The commission for the Info-Box was the result of an invited competition in 1994.The aim was to design a building which would reflect the worldwide interest in the building activities on PotsdamerPlatz of recently re-united Berlin.In this information pavilion,the planned construction projects were to be presented through models,computer animations and plans.
