中国传统山水艺术透露出五种对待自然的态度:以物娱目、以物比德、以物兴情、以物启智和以物畅怀,有突出的人化自然和功利主义地利用自然的痕迹,不利于独立、深入地呈现自然。当代中国的自然审美与山水艺术需要引入客观地对待自然的态度,以自然科学知识深化对各类自然对象、环境的认识,确立自然内在价值观念,培育尊重自然、平等地对待自然的环境伦理,以及深入、细致地探究自然生命秘密之新趣味。当代山水艺术若能超越人文趣味、写意传统,可开出呈现自然生命本相之新境界。

Traditional Chinese landscape art reveals five attitudes towards nature:entertaining with objects,integrating morals with objects,arising emotions with objects,enlightening with objects,and fulilling with objects,with characteristics of prominent humanized nature and utiltarian use of nature,which hinders the independent and profound presentation of nature.An objective attitude towards nature needs to be introduced to contemporary Chinese natural aesthetics and landscape art,to deepen the understanding of various natural objects and the environment with natural science knowledge,establish the inherent values of nature,and cultivate an environmental ethics that respects nature and treats nature equally.,explore new domain of the secrets of natural life.If contemporary landscape art can extend beyond humanistic tastes and freehand traditions,it can open up a new realm that shows the essence of natural life.
