城市公共空间设计中的儿童参与

Children Participation in the Design of Urban Public Space

儿童参与是儿童友好型城市建设的重要途径之一。城市公共空间的品质对儿童身心发展十分重要,但目前我国城市公共空间普遍存在着设计僵化、设施单一、安全隐患多、缺乏吸引力等问题,这主要是由于设计过程中忽视了儿童的意见和需求。儿童在城市规划领域的参与能力能够从国外一些实践中得到证明,而且可以从发展心理学的角度加以解释。通过分析儿童参与在美国博尔德市政区改造中的应用,总结成功经验,以期为我国儿童友好型城市建设中的儿童参与提供参考。

Children participation is one of the important ways for the construction of child-friendly cities.The quality of urban public space is very important for the physical and mental development of children,but at present,there are many problems existed in China's urban public space,such as rigid design,single facilities,multiple security risks,lack of attraction,etc.,which are mainly caused by the neglect of children's opinions and needs in the design process.Children's participation ability in the field of urban planning can be proved from some practices abroad,and it can also be explained from the perspective of developmental psychology.By analyzing the application of children participation in the reconstruction of the municipal administrative division of Boulder,USA and summarizing the successful experience,we hope that it can provide reference for children participation in the construction of child-friendly cities in China.
