Review and Prospect: the Development of Postgraduate Education in Macao in the Past 20 years

回归20年来,澳门研究生教育发展主要经历规模扩张、转型发展和提质增效等三大阶段,实现了从小到大、从弱到强、从单一走向丰富的快速发展,逐步形成了澳门研究生教育发展的基本特征,包括以提升科研能力为推动研究生教育发展的抓手,以国际化办学为促进研究生教育发展的重要途径,以出台相关政策制度为研究生教育发展的推进方式;在新的机遇与挑战下,澳门研究生教育改革与发展应注重政府顶层设计、强化国际化内涵发展理念、深化特色竞争意识。

Since Macao’s return to China in the past 20 years,the development of postgraduate education in Macao has mainly gone through three stages:expansion of scale,transformation and development,and improvement of quality and efficiency.It has realized the rapid development from small to large,from weak to strong,from single to rich,and has gradually formed the basic characteristics of the development of postgraduate education in Macao,including promoting the development of postgraduate education by improving scientific research,running schools internationally as an important way,and taking the introduction of relevant policy system as the way to promote the development of postgraduate education.Under the new opportunities and challenges,the reform and development of postgraduate education in Macao should pay attention to the top-level design of the government,strengthen the concept of internationalization connotation development,and deepen the consciousness of characteristic competition.
