Research progress and prospects of hemifacial microsomia

半面短小是一种累及多器官常见的先天性颅面畸形,严重影响患儿的功能和外观。目前,对于其发病机制和临床诊疗尚缺乏共识。近年来,随着测序技术、影像学技术和医学分析软件的进步与普及,我们虽然对半面短小这种疾病有了更全面和更深入的了解,但仍有很多问题有待解决。

Hemifacial microsomia is a common congenital craniofacial malformation involving multiple organs,which seriously affects the function and appearance of children.There is still a lack of consensus on pathogenesis and clinical diagnosis and treatment of hemifacial microsomia.In recent years,with the advancement and popularization of next-generation sequencing technology,imaging technology and medical analysis software,we have a more comprehensive and deeper understanding of this disease.Nevertheless,there are still many questions to be solved.
