Regional Modern Expression of Commercial and Residential Mode in Jiangnan Water Town

进入21世纪,在经济全球化和中国城镇化的影响下,我国的传统建筑文化与风貌受到了冲击。其中,具有独特水乡特色的江南水乡小镇也深受影响。而其中最富有地域特色和传统气息的商业街,由于过度开发也面临着失去原有内涵和地域文化流失的威胁。传统的水乡小镇的商住模式有其生存和发展的优势,但是在经济迅猛发展的当今社会,传统的模式必然不能满足新时代不断发展和变化的社会需求。因此,本文从功能形式和精神文化两个方面,研究了适应现代社会发展要求的江南水乡商住模式的理论做法与改造方式。

Since the 21st century, under the influence of economic globalization and China’s urbanization, China’s traditional architectural culture and style have been impacted. Among them, the Jiangnan water towns with unique water features have also been deeply affected. The commercial street with the richest regional characteristics and traditional atmosphere is also threatened by the loss of original connotation and regional cultural loss due to over-exploitation. The traditional commercial and residential mode of a small water town has its advantages of survival and development. However, in today’s society where the economy is developing rapidly, the traditional model cannot meet the social needs of the new era. Therefore, this paper studies the theoretical practice and transformation of the commercial and residential mode of Jiangnan water town in order to meet the requirements of modern social development from two aspects of functional form and spiritual culture.
