九世班禅首次赴浙的动因探析

南下赴浙游览、讲经,是九世班禅进京不久后做出的决定。根据班禅进京的真实意图,这一决定显得有些唐突,然而他最终还是在短时间内启程南下。究其赴浙动因,主要是与段祺瑞临时执政府商讨治藏问题未果后,觉得其政治愿望短时间内无法实现的遣怀之旅;适逢浙江官绅的盛情邀约,加之临时执政府的全力支持,遂成此行;另外,浙江秀美的湖山景观和浓郁的佛教氛围也是吸引其南下的一个重要因素。

The 9 th Panchan Lama made the decision of going to Zhejiang to sightsee and preach e shortly after his visit to Beijing.This decision seemed to be somewhat unexpected,but he set out his journey to Zhejiang in a short time.The motivations of the 9 th Panchan Lama visiting Zhejiang is analyzed,and it is found that it was just a journey to get relieved after he failed to hold discussions with the central government about the governance of Tibet and felt that his political aspiration could not be realized in a short time.With the invitation from Zhejiang governors and the support from the interim government,the 9 th Panchen Lama departed on his journey to Zhejiang.Additionally,Zhejiang’s beautiful landscape and its dense atmosphere of Buddhism also had been attracted him.
