“凤凰男”:当代城乡婚恋的再现、阶层与性别

‘Phoenix men’:changing representations of urban-rural marriages in contemporary China

"凤凰男"是流行于当代中国内地的一个网络/传媒术语。据笔者考察,"凤凰男"的出现与流行同2007年两部热播的有关城乡婚恋的电视连续剧《新结婚时代》《双面胶》所引发的网络讨论相关。透过对相关的几部电视连续剧/小说(《人生》(1982)、《新结婚时代》(2007)、《双面胶》(2007)、《人民的名义》(2017))所再现的城乡婚恋故事的文本分析,及对"凤凰男"话语的网络田野调查,可以看出"凤凰男"作为中国大众文化热词所折射的现实问题。

"Phoenix man" is a Internet/mass media term popular in contemporary China.The essay examines the rise and genealogy of this catchphrase in Chinese popular culture.Using textual analyses of several related TV series/novels,"Life"(1982),"New Age of Marriage"(2007),"Double-Sided Adhesive Tape"(2007),"In the Name of the People"(2017),and the Internet field survey of the "Phoenix men" discourse,we can see urban-rural division.
