Tightening technology is an important part of assembly process. Assembly of automobile parts and whole vehicle involve bolt tightening.This paper mainly expounds the basic concept and principle of tightening,the common method of bolt tightening,and the selection and application of tightening tools,so as to achieve the purpose of improving assembly quality.
