早期启动住院医师英语培训的实践

The study on early initiation of resident English training

目的探索在住院医师规范化培训中尽早开展英语培训,为住院医师提供更广阔的国际视野,提高其综合素质。方法华中科技大学协和深圳医院对2018年71名新入住院医师启动了早期英语培训的专项工作,具体分3个阶段进行。第一阶段,摸底测试:岗前培训即进行英语测试及相关问卷调查,测试包括专业外语和公共外语,问卷调查包括英语学习现状和需求。第二阶段,实施培训:根据测试成绩分为基础班和提高班。结合调查问卷结果分析,外请英语培训机构共同制订教学方案,外请专业英语老师进行每周1次英语授课,包括专业英语和公共英语。第三阶段,效果评定:培训10个月后再次进行英语测试和问卷调查。结果分析两次测试的成绩和问卷调查结果,培训后英语成绩较培训前明显提升,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05);医师对于培训的获益给予肯定,英语学习的积极性较培训前明显提高,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论早期启动英语培训可提高住院医师英语水平,激发英语学习热情,对住院医师英语的综合素质提高有促进作用。

Objective Early initiation of English training in standardized residency training could provide the residents with boarder international visions and improve their comprehensive qualities.Methods Huazhong University of Science and Technology Union Shenzhen Hospital started the early initiation of English training for 71 residents of the standardized residency training programs enrolled in 2018.The work proceeded in three stages.The first stage was assessment by English test and the questionnaires,the test included medical English and public English,and the questionnaire surveys included the English learning status and needs.The second stage was implementation of training.Residents in the study were divided into two groups of different levels(the basic class and advanced class)according to the test scores.Moreover,we analyzed the current situations and needs of the residents by questionnaire.We invited the English training institutions to develop a training plan of 10 months.The third stage was effect evaluation,the English tests and questionnaire surveys were conducted after 10 months training.Results English scores after training were significantly higher than before(P<0.05),and there were obviously statistical differences.The participants gave affirmation to the benefits of training,and the enthusiasm for English learning was significantly improved(P<0.05).Conclusion Early initiation of English training can improve the English level of standardized training residents,stimulate the enthusiasm of English learning,and promote their comprehensive qualities.
