摘要
将适用于回旋振荡管的收集极磁场扫描系统应用到U波段回旋行波管的收集极设计中,有效解决了收集极的功率耗散问题。分别设计了横向、纵向和横-纵向磁场扫描系统(TVFSS),仿真结果显示,磁场扫描法能够明显提高收集极性能。当采用TVFSS扫描方法时,与未采用磁场扫描法相比,电子收集长度从180提升到了300mm,而最高功率耗散密度从0.7降到了0.45kW/cm2。仿真结果验证了磁场扫描系统在回旋行波管收集极设计上的可行性,为大功率回旋行波管收集极的功率耗散问题提供了有效的解决方案。
The magnetic field sweeping(FSS)system widely used in the collector of gyrotron oscillator is adapted to the collector design of U-band gyrotron traveling wave tube(gyro-TWT).To enhance the capability of power dissipation,transverse magnetic field sweeping system(TFSS),vertical magnetic field sweeping system(VFSS)and transverse-vertical magnetic field sweeping system(TVFSS)are designed.The simulation results show that the FSSs can improve the collector performance notably.Compared with the collector without FSS,the TVFSS can increase the collecting length from 180 to 300 mm and decrease the maximum dissipated power from 0.7 to 0.45 kW/cm 2.The simulation results validate the feasibility of FSS in gyro-TWT collector,and provide an effective solution to the power dissipation problem of high-power gyro-TWT.
