论《伤寒杂病论》中半夏当为鲜半夏

Pinelliae Rhizome in Treatise on Cold Pathogenic and Miscellaneous Diseases should be fresh Pinelliae Rhizoma

现代医家普遍认为《伤寒杂病论》中的半夏为生半夏,又因生半夏有毒,多以制半夏代替使用,然而这可能是一个误区。为研究《伤寒杂病论》中半夏的使用情况,对含半夏的条文、半夏的炮制方法、相关古籍和半夏的生物学特性进行分析,认为《伤寒杂病论》中的半夏为鲜半夏,而非生半夏。此外,实测考证《伤寒杂病论》常规用量半升鲜半夏约等于51g,晒干后约得生半夏23g。对原著中半夏的重新认识,有利于还原张仲景使用半夏的方法,并为经方研究及临床用药提供理论依据。

Most of modern traditional chinese medicine doctors believe that Pinelliae rhizoma in the Treatise on Cold Pathogenic and Miscellaneous Diseases is dried Pinelliae rhizoma,and because of the toxicity of it,Pinelliae rhizoma were usually replaced by the processed products,but this may be a misunderstanding.In order to study the use of Pinelliae rhizoma in the Treatise on Cold Pathogenic and Miscellaneous Diseases,we analyzed the articles containing Pinelliae rhizoma,the related ancient books and the biological characteristics of Pinelliae rhizoma,and measured it according to the processing method of Pinelliae rhizoma in the original text.It was found that Zhang Zhongjing used fresh Pinelliae rhizome.And the common dose is about 51 grams,it is 23 grams after drying.The intensive study of the original works is helpful to understand Zhang Zhongjing′s method of using Pinelliae rhizome and has certain guiding significance for the clinical use of Pinelliae rhizoma.
