This paper focuses on a discussion of bank acceptance bills. Firstly, it reviews the mechanism and advantages of bill payment in the era of the Shanghai Commercial Paper Exchange. Secondly, it analyzes the problems and risks of the new payment mechanism. Against this background, the paper offers suggestions on basic system construction with an eye to bill recourse rights and straight line stripping practices.
