摘要
日本的外语教育政策主要关注英语教育,本文的考察对象则是英语以外的外语语种。文章首先追溯日本小语种教育的历史,并基于各类统计数据分析小语种教育的现状,以便全面把握日本的外语教育政策。日本的外语类大学及院系传统上重视文学研究,二战后逐渐确立"区域研究·国际关系教育"体制;作为通识课程的外语类课程重视人文因素,是大学素质教育的一部分;重视"海外子女·归国子女"的外语资源价值,并提供一系列配套措施。在我国外语学界日益重视非通用语种人才培养模式的背景下,日本的做法值得参考和借鉴。
Japan’s foreign language education policy focuses on English education,while foreign languages other than English are ignored.This article traces back to the history of minority language education in Japan,and analyzes the current situation of minority language education based on various statistical data,in order to fully grasp the Japanese foreign language education policy.The foreign language universities and departments have traditionally attached importance to literary research.After World War II,the system of"regional research and international relations education"was gradually established.The foreign language courses as general courses focus on human factors and are part of the quality education of universities.The government attaches importance to the value of foreign language resources for"overseas children,returning children"and provides a series of supporting measures.Under the background that China’s academic circles pay more and more attention to the training mode of multilingual talents,the above-mentioned practices in Japan are worthy of reference.
